Sunday Celebration
Praise to God
We celebrate the presence of Christ each week in worship.
Worship to us is the heart of the worshipper responding to the heart of God.
"We love Him because He first loved us" wrote the apostle John (1 John 4:19). And Jesus said that God seeks worshippers who "will worship the Father in Spirit and truth" (John 4:22).
Our goal is to be worshippers, who gather around the throne of Christ. As we draw nearer to Him we press closer to one another and are united together in shared glory (John 17:22).
Message from God
Sunday morning's sermon is a message from God. In the Bible, pastors served as messengers. This means the sermon is more than biblical thoughts for consideration.
The sermon is a message from God for action. This is why we apply the message in our cell groups and post it on the internet for those who want to hear what God is saying to us.
In addition to worship and the message, our Sunday Celebration of God includes public testimonies through baptism and communion as well as the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
We seek to be Spirit led and Bible based in all that we do. And our worship celebration reflects this.
